Welcome to The Adelaide Collective,
Please note that the Collective has disbanded.
The Adelaide Collective was an online magazine dedicated to all that is good and happening in our fine state, from the heart of Adelaide in South Australia.
As team of up-and-coming, slightly bizarre, over caffeinated and under slept Adelaidian women who look after this newly founded online publication dedicated to Adelaide arts and culture, this site was funded to act as a free publishing space to share what is going on in Adelaide- from the center of the CBD, to over the hills and beyond.
We love independent films, art galleries and openings, fashion shows, boutique designers and bands that play in garages as well as in cafes or on benches in Rundle Mall. We love spoken word performances and local theatre productions, as well as when those big cats come to town. We love prose, fiction, and life stories about when good things happen. Or when they don’t. We love people of all ages creating change, urban development, tea, coffee and a good shot of whisky to settle the nerves when necessary.
Our goal was to share all these things with everyone we know, and everyone we can find, to help our festival state thrive in the … not so festival times.
Since our founding in November 2011 we have officially disbanded from July 2013.
